WHAT WE DO

Results evaluation

The Outcome evaluation looks at whether a certain intervention is leading or has lead to progress on a set of outcome objectives from the program's logic model. Although similar, the outcome evaluation is different from the impact evaluation. While the impact evaluation aims to inform future policy and funding decisions by looking at an intervention's lasting impact after the end of the project, the outcome evaluation typically takes place while a project is still running and serves more as a monitoring tool. It assesses how well activities are going and provides early warnings in case of problems.
