WHAT WE DO

Evaluability assessment

An evaluability assessment determines the extent to which a programme or project can be evaluated given the nature of its theory of change and the availability of data. By establishing a project's evaluability in advance, one improves the prospects for producing useful evaluation results. Depending on the stage of the programme or project, the assessment can lead to improved design and better M&E frameworks. Evaluability assessments also serve as bases for terms of reference for evaluations.
