IFAD entrusted Plan with the data collection for the impact assessment of two projects to support family farming in the African archipelago of São Tomé and Príncipe as part of an LTA. The team conducted interviews, focus groups, and a household survey with a listing exercise. More than 5,000 families were screened and 1.420 surveyed in the rural areas of both islands. The project was challenging due to unfavorable infrastructure conditions, but Plan Eval delivered 100% of the planned sample.
