Gente de Valor was a sustainable rural development project that provided infrastructure, technical assistance, access to water and organization in cooperatives for small farmers in remote rural areas. The United Nations' International Fund for Agricultural Development hired Plan Eval as part of a long-term con-tract to conduct all data collection, consisting of a sample survey, focus groups and interviews. The data were used to evaluate the impact of the program.
