The final evaluation of the Terra Mais Igual Program, financed by the BNDES Development Bank, analyzed the results and impacts of the intervention between 2005 and 2013. Terra was a pioneer in tackling the problem of precarious settlements through social and economic actions, as well as urban infrastructure. The evaluation included an impact measurement based on a survey of 1700 families, in-depth interviews with 205 stakeholders, and technical audits performed by engineers and architects. The results were presented in a public seminar.
