In southern Brazil, Plan Eval conducted a household survey to monitor beneficiary families of the Bolsa Família conditional cash transfer programme. Households were visited and the registration updated. Bolsa Família requires families to keep their children in school and pregnant women must perform pre-natal exams, among other requirements. Plan Eval's researchers visited 1.100 families in rural and urban areas.
