This final evaluation was based on a baseline carried out by Plan Eval in a low-income neighborhood in São Paulo and in the more developed municipality of Itatiba. The Nivea-supported Caring Families project coached families to foster the integral development of their children by stimulating playfulness and nonviolent educational practices. Our team carried out a representative survey of the beneficiary population and a control group alike to measure the evolution of these practices two years after project implementation.
