The Plan Eval team carried out a socioeconomic diagnosis of 7 municipalities in the Cerrado region of Western Brazil, in order to help agribusiness companies prioritize their evidence-based social investment. Recommendations were made after a throrough stakeholder mapping effort and a socio-economic assessment of each site. The Plan team calculated risks and opportunities and proposed a detailed list of partners and areas for investment with the greatest likelihood of social return.
