Sealing services, photographic registration, and survey to collect sociodemographic information on families and for the identification of buildings in the municipality of Santo André - SP.
Supporting a slum upgrade intervention, Plan Avaliação assisted an engineering contractor in identifying households and registering families in an area with precarious housing estates in Southeastern Brazil. Plan staff carried out home visits to verify the characteristics of each building in the field and recorded information about the living conditions of the inhabitants in order to find the best housing solution for each family. All 934 families living in the area were surveyed.
