Consulting services for technical support to the PGTAs Survey of Indigenous Communities of Upper and Middle Rio Negro


With the objective of having reliable data to elaborate Territorial and Environmental Management Plans, 44 indigenous persons from the northern Amazon region were trained by the NGO Instituto Socioambiental to make a survey of the living conditions of villages spread over an area of 11.5 million hectares of forest. Based on parameters established by Plan, 3.544 families were contacted and 367 collective interviews were held, using tablets with the ODK platform. Plan also performed quality checks, data processing and analysis.
