Plan Eval is part of a consortium led by ITAD to conduct the impact evaluation of the Newton Fund, Commissioned by the UK Government’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). This independent evaluation aims to assess the long-term outcomes and impacts of the Newton Fund and provide insights to inform the design and management of future research and innovation funds. Plan Eval national teams are leading case studies in Brazil, Kenya, and South Africa, contributing to a broader understanding of the fund’s impact locally.
