In this assessment, Plan Eval evaluated the impact of the Nachtigal hydroelectric plant on the surrounding population in terms of the quantity and quality of the actions aimed at restoring people's livelihoods in accordance with IFC/World Bank requirements. The study was based on a census of the affected stakeholders as compared to an existing baseline. The Nachtigal power plant is set to produce one-third of all electricity in Cameroon.
