In 2024, we measured the impact of the actions of the União faz a Vida early childhood education improvement program on the Basic Education Development Index (IDEB) in 650 cities in 15 states (3,900 schools) in Brazil using public data and program monitoring. We interpreted the results of this measurement and compared different municipal realities in order to identify the actions associated with the greatest improvement in the IDEB and thus help improve the program.
