Qualitative study on prenatal care, childbirth and influences on birth plan decisions


This study identifies the operational, economic, social and behavioural drivers of the prevalence of cesarean sections in Brazil, delving deeper into the barriers and facilitators that influence the choice of delivery mode among pregnant women, health professionals, health professionals and women. The study considers the political, social and environmental contexts and how this could impact the effectiveness of interventions, from a Social and Beahviour Change perspective.
