Support for the elaboration of the Socio-environmental Program of Manaus and Interior - PROSAMIM - Survey of tourist demand in the municipality of Parintins,


In the Brazilian Amazon, Plan Eval carried out in 2023 a touristic demand study based on surveys with 400 visitors in Parintins. We identified tourist profiles, behavior trends, mapped points of interest, and estimated tourism expenditure. The study supported the Social and Environmental Program of Manaus and the Interior (PROSAMIN), an initiative of the Government of Amazonas state financed by the IADB.
