Review of the UNICEF/WFP Social Protection Response to COVID-19 in Mozambique
UNICEF Mozambique commissioned Plan Eval to conduct the programmatic review of an emergency cash transfer program that benefited 94,706 households during the COVID-19 pandemic in the districts of Zambézia and Tete in Mozambique. In this context, our research team conducted an in-depth desk study, as well as 62 semi-structured individual interviews and 8 focus group discussions with beneficiaries. Interviews were also carried out with local actors (central and local government members, NGOs) relevant to the programme.
