Study on Health and Safety at Work and Road Transport in Brazil

This research for the ILO was a study on the profile and specificities of work accidents and sick leaves in the road transport sector, with a focus on self-employed truck drivers. In addition to expanding the knowledge base on the subject, it was expected that the study would serve as input for the design of prevention and promoting health and safety policies in the Road Transport sector. In doing so, the study was expected to support the promotion of safer and healthier working environments.
